As you reach Srinagar on the first day of your tour, representatives of the tour operator escorts you to the houseboat. After some rest, you are transferred to a Shikara which starts your water safari and begins at the Dal Lake via the famous Anchar Lake (bird watchers Paradise), via through the main river of the Vale of Kashmir (Downstream) known as Jhelum, then Ganderbal , then Manasbal Lake (famous for water lilies & Lotus flowers) and finally reaching Wular Lake (the largest fresh water Lake in Asia) very famous for growing water chestnuts and local fish. There would be a night stay at Manasbal Lake and the Wular Lake respectively. The number of tour days depends on request and is not bound.

One can return from any of the places by car and also can come back same way (upstream) by same Shikara and route but needs additional nights.
